Genius was a music media company founded as "Rap Genius" which focused on hip-hop journalism before expanding into pop, R&B, and other genres.

I was Executive Producer for the in-house production department which included 5 staff directors, as well as a team of producers, editors, and designers. I oversaw the production and development of successful online video series, branded campaigns, and daily social & editorial content.

Our content earned 100M monthly YouTube views, 11M YouTube subscribers, and 8 million TikTok followers and featured the likes of Cardi B, Alicia Keys, J Balvin, Mariah Carey, SZA, Teyana Taylor, Rosalia, Issa Rae and many more
